SMALL COLLAGE WORKS
A series of small collages with mounts and wrapped in cellophane ready to pop into your own frame. Each collage incorporates fragments of agricultural almanacks across the months of the year, to be reminded that our connection with the seasons, the lunar cycle and the lengths of the day is fundamental.

Each work in this series is born of a personal and intuitive connection with natural time and the garden. In this creative space and these subliminal moments where we transcend artificial constructions, the present becomes fluid and we remember that our place is in the natural world. All senses alert, fully alive, the experience of being at one with nature leads towards increasingly abstract works where the mark making is an intuitive process which transcends pictorial representation.
